Pender Island Farmers' Market - The BC Farmers' Market Trail

An integral piece of Pender's community identity. Since 1978, Pender Island's local economy has relied heavily on the support of year-round residents. Though the population swells with visitors arriving for the summer, it's the local community whose unwavering support of the Island's food producers that help make the Pender Island Farmers' Market what it is...

Sponsored by the Pender Island Farmers' Institute, the market brings together local farmers, craftspeople and food vendors to offer you Pender Island's best wares: vegetables, fruits, flowers, eggs, pasture-raised lamb, local cider, baked goods, jams and jellies, sushi, plants, art, crafts, jewelry, music and snacks!

Open Saturdays, 9:30am to 1:00pm, May long weekend to Labour Day long weekend.

A Food-Only Cooperative Food Hub is held Wednesdays from 3-6 pm in the Farmers’ Institute Barn behind the Hall.

We are members of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets and are involved in the BC Farmers’ Markets Nutrition Coupon Program.
