Judging Standards
Section A - Floral

 

The judging standards for each variety of flowers are very specific so please refer to the revised Judging Standards for non-specialized shows published by the BC Council of Garden Clubs for detailed information. A copy of these standards is at the Pender Island Library for your convenience. .

In general, the standard of judging is usually against perfection in a bloom or plant. Point standards are available for most flowers based on 100 for perfection. Points are scored with reference to: size, form, and condition.

The B.C. Fairs & Exhibitions Association does not have a website and the BC Council of Garden Clubs and the Department of Agriculture, BC Provincial Government, does not provide this information online.
